The spread of micro-sensors, micro-computer and low-power wireless communication enable deployment of distributed Internet of Things systems. Some systems employ multi-hop communication to convey the information among IoT devices because transmission range of each device is limited due to regulation and energy limit. Long-lived systems are especially important to develop practical products. We make researches about Media Access Control (MAC) mechanisms, routing protocols, and micro-computer boards to realize autonomous IoT systems.
