OFDM has high tolerance for multiple waves within a Guard Interval (GI) period, and can achieve accurate demodulation of multiple waves. The transmitters of OFDM cooperative communication synchronize the transmission timing with the same OFDM signals among neighbor transmitters because their receivers can accurately demodulate those multiple signals at GI period. The advantages of the proposed mechanism are to improve communication performance by route diversity effect and to reduce dissemination delay by simultaneous transmission.
